I haven't made a blend in photoshop for a while and I got the idea last night when I was checking my work email. As a marketing intern for 512 Realty, I've worked with the 512 Realty logo millions of times, resizing, recoloring, and all sorts of fiddling around with it to incorporate it in the company's promotional materials. As I looked at the logo for the millionth time, I came up with the idea to create a blend that uses the actual buildings that logo was inspired by.

I thought that maybe we could put the banner I'd make up on the 512 website to provide a nice visual on the home page. As I was in the process of making the blend, I asked two of my colleagues what they thought and one of them said there might be trouble with copyright infringement if I used a picture of the UT Tower. Drats! Oh well. I was already halfway done and I knew I had to finish putting my idea together. I decided not to put it on the 512 website, but instead, add it to my own personal collection of graphics.

I should really start working on more graphics to get my photoshop skills up to par, but after a lot of erasing, recoloring, and playing around with blending layers, I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
